No Dog Left Behind
Founded in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization, No Dog Left Behind (formally known as Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team), gives a second chance to at risk animals. NDLB’s mission statement is “To save the lives of animals while enriching the lives or people.” Since its inception the organization has rescued over 14,000 animals. Utilizing small aircraft, along with rescue trucks, NDLB deploys to overwhelmed shelters and clears out animals who otherwise will run out of time. These animals are flown or driven free of charge to shelter with the space and resources to assure the animals are adopted.
Plesset Management & Development is the co-founder of the charity along with the managing entity. Over the last decade PMD has flown hundreds of rescue flights and logged over 500 hours in the air flying animals from danger to safety.
